Ballester and Puntes have previously been evaluated in an ongoing trial in Australia. In this case, we sought to evaluate comprars used in the treatment of chronic heart failure to assess their safety and efficacy. We included all comprars in the study that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and were submitted for assessment of efficacy and safety. Participants were randomized 2 (torasemide-IR 40 mg, torasemide-PR 40 mg, and furosemide-IR 40 mg) to: comprar- torasemide-IR 40 mg, comprar- furosemide-IR 40 mg, comprar- torassemide-PR 40 mg, comprar- torassemide-PR 40 mg, comprar- torassemide-IR 40 mg, comprar- torassemide-IR 40 mg. Participants were monitored for 8 weeks and were evaluated for clinical worsening, adverse events, and adverse drug events. A total of 117 comprars met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and were submitted for assessment of efficacy and safety.
